Yes, bring on the triple option with better athletes.

 

At minimum, he either lied to the team when he said he saw the video of the rape (strange thing to lie about) or lied when he said he did not see it during the investigation.

 

If it’s the first scenario, no it’s not really weird. He would’ve been trying to drive home his point about how disgusted he was when he “saw it” (in his case it was described to him). If he lied during the investigation, that’s different.
