The fail dozer tournament.
I think that was the beginning of the end.
Someone did. Pretty sure that’s what led to the creation of this site. IIRC, the tournament started on TOOS, led to the banishment of a number of members who created and participated in it, and then resumed once this site was started by those same members.
That tournament was the real deal. The top seeds in the current tournament would have flamed out in the early rounds of that thing. I know because I flamed out in an early round.
Years of shitposting later...
I didn't know about people getting banned over that. That place got weird.

Dude was funny but not very good at video game football.
not being good at video game football is a sign of a well-lived life.
Being absolutely terrible at them and not knowing the first thing about video games other than what I have to know with having a 9 year old is a source of pride in my life.
I am giddy about World of Warcraft: Classic coming out this summer. I also play D&D on Friday nights. And read mathematics for fun. I am the anti-Card.
Although 99% of my reading is about theology, history, and biographies, so we are kinda kindred nerdy spirits there.

Is Indy still the odds-on favorite?
He won this award the moment he got in that van.
Lots of people making money streaming video games nowadays. VB was before his time.
Other than some Mario Kart wars with the boy, I don't think I've played a half hour total of video games since I got married.
Why do I have a feeling you're going to play a night elf druid...
[uck fay] no. Dwarf Paladin. If I play a druid, it will be Tauren.
Star Wars cartoons Card throwing shade at video games, an 8thmaxim classic.
this is escalating
Now ask me how many of those would be commented on if I didn't have kids.
(And if someone could remotely explain the plot of Kim Possible to me, that would be great, as my daughter loves this show and it makes no sense.)
