Earlier today, I got lost in old WWF videos on Youtube today. You may say I have a lot of extra time. Truth is, I do not have school on Mondays and the thought of doing homework early eerily pains me beyond imagination. Anyhow, I got to watching Attitude Era videos, and I got to wondering, what are some of yall's favorite Attitude Era moments. I will start with these two links. Add any you want. Stone Cold drives Zamboni - YouTube Raw 06-28-1999 Stone Cold Vs The Undertaker {WWF Title} - YouTube
The Rock talking about being the People's Champion then calling everyone in whatever city was hosting Raw an idiot was always classic.
Jericho's debut was solid. Stone Cold throwing the belt was amazing. The Val Venis/John Bobbitt shit was hilarious to me at the time. I loved the King as the heel announcer, "Puppies!". Favorite thing was the first time Stone Cold stunned Vince though.
Who was the comedian?/actor? (maybe it was just some random backstage guy, I don't know) that did some (at least one that I remember) of the impressions with DX? The one in particular I remember he was pretending to be Owen Hart when Owen was wearing that yellow and black outfit. "WHAT AM I WEARING! I LOOK LIKE A ROAD SIGN!"
Never mind, that was the Nation of Domination impersonation Groves mentioned. Fantastic.
My personal favorite was when Stone Cold stunnered Santa. I was working in the Christmas department at Walmart at the time, and Santa getting laid out made my Christmas that year.
Y2J's debut is probably at the top for me. Almost everything SCSA and DX did. Taker's feuds with Mankind and Kane.
The Rock hitting Mankind 20 plus times in the head with a chair in an "I Quit" match at the Royal Rumble was pretty awesome. Stone Cold's first real feud with Bret Hart in 1997 was a good one. Kane's debut was great.
Stone Cold Steve Austin stuns Jeff Jarrett -12/7/99- - YouTube I love this segment, could be one of my favorites that nobody remembers.
As far as matches go in that time, Undertaker's Hell in a Cell battles with Michaels and Mankind were fantastic.
The most memorable feud of that time outsie of Austin/Mcmahon was definitely Triple H and Rock. The matches were good stuff and the promos were even better. The Rock destroys McMahon-Hemsley Regime-05/22/00(2/2) - YouTube
