I just do Panera because it’s easy and tastes decently good.

Strictly in terms of chains, Jersey Mike’s is the best sandwich shop and it’s not really that close. At all.

    1. Jersey Mike’s
    2. Lenny’s (best hot relish)
    3. Publix
    4. Which Wich
    5. Jimmy John’s
    6. Firehouse
    7. Scholtzky’s

    1,000,000. Subway

    1,000,000,000. Panera

Yeah, it’s be higher on my list if not for the price. We enjoy it, but at least 50% of the point of eating fast food is because it’s cheap.

    Why the disdain for Panera?

I used to like Subway alright. The pricing got worse and I stopped going.

I like Potbelly quite a bit from a sandwich shop perspective.

Subway is bad. I got Jason's deli for a meeting with various sandwiches, salads and huge strawberry shortcake desserts. About the best I've had in awhile. Maybe my jersey Mike's sucks. Cold piece of turkey with a cold piece of cheese on a chewy bun has been last 2 experiences.

It’s gross and it’s overpriced. Perhaps the most overrated restaurant in America.

Subway was good back in the day when they had the subway wallpaper decor and there wasn’t one built every 5 feet. Now, it’s slimy meat and brown lettuce and the stores are always understaffed.

Ive just not found a chain place sandwich I like better than the New York Steamer from Firehouse.

If you want your sandwiches hot and/or steamed then Mike’s is not the place to go (unless you want a chicken or steak Philly). Your piece of cheese and your piece of turkey was cold because they serve sandwiches with cold cuts.

You’re better off going to Firehouse or Which Wich for warm sandwiches.

If we are talking just Maryville, I think Subs n’ Stink is better than Firehouse but my problem with Subs n’ Stink is that anybody who gets within a 12-24ft radius of you or your desk can tell you almost exactly what you had to eat and/or will try to place an order with you.

My mom loves it. I've never been there. Out of site out of mind kind of place.

I love sweet tea. I would drink it all the time if I would not weigh 400 pounds as a result.
