Thorton isn't going to be happy with anyone other than Fulmer. The rest that I have some insight into are ambivalent. They think he's bright guy, but they're not sure he can win. I'd say those feelings are magnified today.

 

I keep forgetting that we don't pay him to actually make them better....he has definitely mistaken our appreciation and graciousness for stupidity. He is in for a rude [uck fay]ing awakening now.

 

Doesn't Thornton have more important things to worry about these days? Last I remember hearing his economic situation was on the decline.
