    My oldest daughter used to be my shadow. Where I was, she was. What I was doing, she was doing. What I liked, she liked.

    She's 10 now and is getting away from that and developing her own uniqueness. While that's a good thing, I still stings quite a bit.

    The Alan Scott Green Lantern is definitely open. I've not followed the books, but the announcement was a big deal. Originally, Alan Scott was the golden age GL from before all the silver age reboots and the first Green Lantern. I'm not sure, but I think they finally killed off the original and kept the name for what's essentially a new character.

    I enjoyed World War Z, although the ending was a little whimperish. (I realize there are additional installments to come.)

    I can't see this as good news. As much as I'd like to see a JLA movie and even a Superman/Batman team up movie, I think you are right. There's still hope though. It's a long way to 2015, and DC movies seem to find their way to development hell.

    At comic con they read the line from The Dark Knight returns (after Batman defeats Superman). Hope this means they fight.

    Have you never read it? I'm not a big comic book guy, but it's worth a read.

    I won't ruin it for you, but he's Batman. He's creative.

    You've gotta have both in this movie. Simon and Simon cameo as well.

    Someone is going to mention Cagney and Lacey next.

    Spider Man would kick everyone's ass.

    I wasn't thinking Cagney and Lacey. I was thinking more along the lines that Don Johnson's jacket from Miami Vice tipped the scales to Batman in his battle with Superman. That or the special diet of cat he learned from ALF.

    This screams Snyder.

    Add in goofy monster and a rape scene and we have the plot.

    Epic =Streethawk
