We’ve said that about almost every trash or inconsistent QB, then they end up beating us. Felipe Franks being the latest with 2 different inferior teams. The only recent exception I can think of is Terry Wilson.
I cringe every time an opponent brings in a backup QB. We've developed a knack of making them look like a leading Heisman candidate.
we don't want to see the UF backup. He was about to take the job before he got hurt. Highest sparq rating last year for an incoming freshman qb since they started sparq
Was expecting more in the 18-20 range, but not a huge surprise. This is one of those games where I feel like there’s one way they cover (jump out in front and put the pedal on) and a couple ways we cover (hit a couple big plays, hang around and go into the 4th with an upset in play, or go down four touchdowns and then score one or two on their backups at the end)
We've been repaying the Karma Chameleon for the massive withdrawl that was Stoerner fumble back in '98, imo. Surely by now we've started depositing into that account given how much we've suffered. I just hope it wasn't a 30 year mortgage. I can't keep going like this through 2028.
Surprised it hasn't moved even more than 5 points to -22. Week's still awfully young though. I would have been on -17 like a duck on a junebug.
a big spread just adds credence to the idea that they may have their guard down. But could we even capitalize?
Be interesting to see where the line moves to by the end of the week. I think it ends back around -18.5
