A greater police presence may be warranted in certain areas, but there's still a constitution in effect in this country and rights that are universal, not just to those who are more fortunate enough to live in areas in which the danger of being shot, unarmed, by police is less.

 

Police are police. If I live in an area where 99% of the crime is perpetrated by people that look and dress like me, I'm either moving or getting familiar with whoever is in charge of protecting my community. Maybe that line of thinking is an example of my "white privilege" though.
