Have any of you actually watched a Memphis game this year? they are legit. Fuente is working miracles on the west side. Don't undersell him just because he isn't the biggest name out there. He's a terrifc young coach.

 

Fuente is solid. He ain't the home run I want, but I would feel comfortable where we'd go.

 

We continue to see what throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks has gotten us. Fuente, in a sense, would be another ball of shit to be thrown at the wall. IMO

 

He might be the most realistic though. Don't get me wrong, I'd cut off a finger for Kelly or Gruden but I'm just keeping it real.

 

Hasn't proven shite. I don't want potential. I want a proven big name.

I have even though I typically try to avoid it as it's meaningless shitty football. So excuse me if I'm not excited about the idea of the ****ing Memphis coach being handed the reigns to UT football. It's perfectly on par for this program though. As is the fanbase rationalizing it as a good move.

Anyone calling Fuente a good move should be forced to go back and read what folks were saying about Butch when we hired him. "He's won everywhere he's gone!"

 

I'd like to hire someone with a win over an SEC west opponent on his resume. Or a Lombardi trophy with the Bucs.

Teams like Northern Illinois and Iowa frequent the top 25. That means absolute jack ****ing shit to me.

 

Chip/Gruden or shut the ****ing program down IMO

There should be no 3rd option. Hire a championship caliber coach or go to hell UT.

I think Fuente is a good coach. I think he'll be successful somewhere.

That being said, bring me Gruden. Bring me Raheem Morris. Bring me Greg Schiano. Bring me a winner, not a project.
