Yeah, I don't get it. I went to see the original screening of Star Wars at the movies when I was in 5th grade and remember wondering what everybody was so excited about. I feel the same now 40 years later...

Yeah he's pretty terrible too. But it's not really his fault. He's a kid.

 

I agree, the character should have been in his late teens when the movie takes place.

 

Only real problem I have with ROTS is going from "OMG WHAT HAVE I DONE" to killing children in like... 4 seconds

It's got its cringe moments, but I think ROTS stands toe to toe with the originals.....especially compared to the first two movies in the prequel trilogy.

Revenge of the Sith was very good.

 

They were all way too long.

 

I don't mind Jar Jar, I find him no more annoying than C3PO, or early on-the-farm Luke. Or whiny "Where can he be" trash compactor Luke. Or defeatist "You want the impossible" Dagobah Luke.

 

Yep. If any one of those movies had been the first Star Wars movie made, we'd have zero sequels.
