I enjoyed it as well. Even the fiance liked watching it. Her reaction gave me a good laugh when I informed her it was based on an anime series.

We were very surprised when we saw season 2 got canceled:

The original has a rather devoted following, one that has done a cut-off-nose-to-spite-face move here in torpedoing the show.

I imagine those who know nothing of the anime series are generally happy with the live action version.

I imagine I would be the same way with a live action Futurama.

The deaf girl, Maya (she'll be known as Echo eventually) was adopted by him as a small child in the comics

 

That scene early on with her as a little kid was a giveaway too if you’ve seen the other stuff on Netflix

 

Supposedly Matt Murdock is in the new Spiderman movie too

 

Which one? I’ll have to go back and watch again

 

I forget which episode but there was a flashback scene with her as a little kid

 

I also haven’t seen daredevil season 3 so I need to watch that
