It's not ideal. Stuff like this is open to attacks from all sides. I can practically hear what will be said if this becomes a topic on one of the religious podcasts I listen to on a regular basis. Personally, I'm not opposed to this kind of research and work, but I'm also hopeful that we'll get the pill from Star Trek IV at some point.
