Of only the defense did it…..we still put up 36. Much bigger deal if they were stealing defensive calls and then calling the play.
We ran so many option routes on offense I don’t know how much it matters that way. Defensively if they know the coverage and blitz scheme it kills you.
Defensive calls don’t come in before offensive playcalls from the sideline very often though. D is often still looking for the call when the O is getting to the Los. They would have had to see our signs and then call a play or audible to it.
USCjr having our signs/cheating is significantly more believable than them scoring 6 points against a garbage Florida team one week and then dropping 63 on us the next.
like most of them they’re probably more truth to it than we are comfortable admitting or want to admit.
There is truth in them all, meaning they have facts. But they generally are taking a lot of random events and trying to apply meaning to them. A rogue wave is a merging of lots of random waves, but they see a wave machine under the ocean creating them. But I digress. Back to us hating on Beamer and USCjr
Whole heartedly agree, except the rest of the SEC is composed of reptilian and grey aliens. That is very true. They're not real people.
The GameDicks using wrist bands during the TN game is why I give this story some wheels. They just appeared for the 1st time in that game right? If true many of us owe Jeremy Banks an apology.
TCU knew about the sign stealing effort and they deployed inflatable tanks to throw off Michigan last year. Apparently this is not a well kept secret.
But if they shared it with other teams to disrupt matches in which they are not even involved... damn. Imagine if TCU had been the target and they had shared it with a TCU opponent during the season. Nothing you can do if someone randomly takes a shot at you from distance.
The highlights I’ve seen just make it look like we got beat. I havent seen anything other than the wristband that makes me think they had signs, but I’ll be easy to convince if something does come up.
