I don’t want my friends talking about their shit at my work. I don’t want my work friends be abhorred by my non-work friends.
I'm the opposite of Tenny... you're basically my friend from the start until you do something to ruin that, or I do. I befriend everyone, but I also have a serious flaw in that the moment you cross me or violate my trust, I am done with you. Forever.
My wife is an amalgamation of the two... she distrusts everyone until they prove they are worthy... once you’re in, you’re in but if you ever [uck fay] up and get out, you ain’t never, EVER getting back in.
I cannot hold a grudge. I forgive pretty easily. Not trying to be some super guy here, just how I am.
I’m the same way. It amazes me some of the shit I’ve been able to get past and still be friends with folks...
I have to agree with the compartmentalized friends approach. Got to keep my two distinct groups of friends - imaginary and mom - separate.
Just picked up this book off of Amazon. I look forward to discussing it with you when I finish reading it in July 2023.
I’ll very much look forward to discussing it, either after you’ve read it or at any point along the way. Quick bit of interesting news as you read the book: PlayTone, Tom Hanks’ film production company, acquired the tv & movie rights to Bugliosi’s book, and has said that he’s either going to do a series or movie on its contents...and which he thinks will immediately make him the most hated man in Hollywood.
I'd love to see a series with each episode focusing on a particular piece of information/part of the investigation.
