I tell y’all what to do with that canned cranberry sauce. Spread it on your leftover sandwiches the next day. It’s great on turkey sandwiches !
My turkey sandwiches are Legion, only reason to cook a turkey are for the sandwiches the next day. Cornbread dressing and homemade turkey gravy. Pecan pie, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, broccoli casserole, 7 layer salad and those sister Shubert rolls.... Ham is for Easter.... Steaks on Christmas Eve.
Is true but pumpkin pie is still way up there. Honestly I can’t think of a pie that I don’t like. Way better than cake.
I had a country food take, I don't remember a breakfast food take. My country food take was that it is overrated.
My husband's coconut cake is ridiculous. Evil good. I do love a pie, though. Key lime and bourbon pecan are both way up there.
Key lime is one of my favorites of all time. Coconut creme pie is up there. And peanut butter pie...oooh Dutch apple pie...pie... Pie. I think I just slipped into a pie coma.
Pappadeaux has a great sweet potato pecan pie. Te sweet potato is barely noticeable but adds a moistness and creaminess. Love key lime pie in the summer.
Growing up, the BBQ place back home had a lady make fried apple and peach pies for them that would make you slap your mama. The crust was super thin and crunchy. Just glorious.
About the only kind of pie I don't like is coconut, and that's because I don't care for anything coconut.
