the worst track record of any airport I've used over the past 20 years. More flights delayed and cancelled than imaginable.
My worst experience there was sitting in a plane taxing about 100' every 30 minutes or so in the middle of July for about three hours. The engines would shut down, so no ac. There was a hell of a storm hit, and I was certain we were going to get blown off the tarmac.
Stock and Barrel is currently tops downtown for burgers unless there's something new I don't know about.
Downtown Grill & Brewery. How many places can you get pizza and tacos and they both be good. Also an excellent stout. Pretty good beer in general.
Few spots I've stumbled on this week in SF: Swan Oyster Depot- fantastic fresh seafood lunch spot Scoma's-old school Italian seafood spot at the wharf La Roccas-cool dive bar in north beach The Saloon-like 150 yrs old. Gritty blues rock dive bar.
Few things I enjoy more than a bump to first class. On a united flight between two hubs, nonetheless. See yall in CA.
Going to make my once-per-Atlanta-trip trek down to the Varsity tomorrow. Will need a 20 mile run just to offset the calories.
