Suddenly craving Subs n Such for lunch now.

 

I can only go when I don’t have to return to the office after lunch. I can’t stand to sit at my desk and smell myself for the rest of the day.

 

Totally understandable.

 

I’m cooking a 150lbs+ hog for my wife’s birthday.

I like Dead End BBQ, but Sweet P’s is better. I don’t know how anyone eats Buddy’s BBQ.

 

Any middle Tennessee people on here, go try The Meat Sweats in Hendersonville. Decent bbq, good brisket and the sides are great.

It's one of the few places close that have burnt ends

 

What could they do better to get above decent?

There’s so many good trucks in town these days that I can’t even keep up with all of them.

 

Never heard of it, but had Totoaba fish last night and oh my goodness

 

He is from Memphis but grew up in tiptonville. Food is legit.

Our food tastes are similar, and I think you'll like him.

 

With nothing else to really do in downtime, I think I'm just going to work on my smoker game for the forseeable future. Today's side project -

 

If you’re within a 30-45 minute drive of Oak Ridge, it’s absolutely worth the trip to eat at Fat Sal’s. Just make sure you check their hours before you go.

 

I drove to Oak Ridge for that pizza place once. Was disappoint. This better?

 

Big E's is one of those places that if you make the trek like its Mecca you'll be disappointed, but when you live in town, it's great to swing by every once in a while. I dropped by when I was in town late 2018. Was nice to have it again.

 

Yeah I mean it was fine and all. But it was billed as the best pizza you'll ever try by one of your fellow citizens.

 

Big Ed's is shit.
