Watching Pogba pass long is the closest I'll ever get again to the fun I had as a kid seeing Farve heave it. Supreme physical talents those two.
Random question, why when discussing soccer do people say "Milan are" but say "Tennessee/Alabama/Boston/Atlanta is" when discussing football/basketball/baseball?
I pointedly refuse the British method of referring to sports teams as "are". But, it's done because American soccer folks are often copying British terminology and language because their knowledge and interest of the sport often originated in the EPL.

What in the hell was Frank Lampard thinking in not starting Pulisic? They go down 4-1, put Pulisic in at about 58 minutes and he has a fantastic slalom run and assist and now a goal, all in 15 minutes. 4-3 now, Liverpool up.
I believe this, and have no proof other than my intuition, but I think he just pays lip service to Pulisic and hates playing him because he is an American and has no business playing high level soccer.
Always had a soft spot for the Derby della Lanterna (Genoa/Sampdoria). Genoa won for the first time since 2016. They’re in a neck and neck relegation battle with Lecce. typically mediocre to bad teams but they get after each other
