It's the year of 7 pointers. My buddy has a hoss of a 7 pointer on his cameras and this one hangs out at my house. He probably won't get poached, he'll get hit by a car in front of my house and I'll wake up to my boys cutting his head off.
I'm taking my two boys on the juvenile deer hunt this weekend, let's hope there's two deaf, blind deer in the area
I'm getting excited, the weather should be great. I hope like hell they're moving early and often just to keep them entertained
I have been assassinating lizards in my back yard. I'm talking about 4 feet long, non native lizards.
The rain has saved me from pumping...and kept the farmers from getting beans out of one of our fields. We should have a goose slaughter, at least
Friends wife hit an 8 point head on last night taking her kids home from soccer. Damaged front to back as it flipped over. Weve had some crazy deaths around here in similar circumstances. Deer jumped thru a window and killed a lady a few years back. Can you imagine you are going to dinner then bam. Regarding the deer hit last night, why cant that meat be eaten? Principle of it? Let nature take its course and feed the woods..or meat is tainted?
The bruised meat isn't good either. I was in Connecticut a while back, they had crews driving around picking up the dead deer, one was a pickup truck, another I saw had what looked like a bike rack on the back.
Me and the old man sat 12 feet apart and shot 9, mixed bag. 1 mallard, 2 teal, 1 shoveler, 1 woodduck, 4 gadwall
