2020-21 Basketball Season

After all the tough shots SC hit, the basketball gods owed us one.

 

Gaines is a pest and a half on the defensive end.

 

Our defense is not what it's been purported.

 

Ugh, we are in the lazy and stupid passes flurry of the game.

 

We are determined to keep teams within striking distance.

What does Vescovi do well on the basketball court? Other than wipe the soles of his shoes every 15 goddam seconds.

 

I think he rebounds well for a guard. And shooting.

 

I believe he may be towards the top of sec in assist/TO ratio. Leads the team in assists and steals iir, and 3rd or 4th in rebounding. Shoots fts well. Good spot up shooter

 

Will Corey Walker every step on the court as a Vol?

 

I just assumed he was planning to redshirt—do they have blanket extra years of eligibility in basketball like they did in football? I know Barnes is committed to a short bench, but if this year isn’t counting...

 

I fell asleep before tip off, I woke up as the game ended. Every time I watch, Tennessee loses.

 

Sounds like my dad watching UT athletic events. He says if someone could guarantee that Tennessee would win in football again, he'd never watch another game. I feel his pain at this point.

Gaines is too much of an offensive liability to play important minutes. Playing him together with Nkamhoua is just stupid.

 

Hate to see JJJ not playing. Makes us smaller and weaker on an already small team. Pons obviously not 100% either.

 

And Kentucky hitting pull-up 3s with no rebounders is bs btw
