Today I learned that Santiago, Chile is east of New York City.

Also, Bristol is closer to Canada than Memphis

Yes. Alaska is the furthest west and north state. The Missouri River is the longest river in North America. The disconnect on your facts and the ones I just gave is that we conceptualize the world on a 2 dimensional plane most of the time, because maps are on pages or screens. If you hold a globe, all of these facts are obvious.

    Is it also soulless?

From my perspective, yes. Because there is no such thing as a soul.

    I'm leaning into it.

Yeah, I thought it was common knowledge.

Traveling directly north, south, east, and west from Stamford, CT puts you in New York.

Okay, this is the first one that is kind of bullshit. If you travel in an easterly direction, you will leave Stamford CT and enter CT before NY. And if you travel northeast, you won't hit NY. Connecticut has a rat tail surrounded by NY. Big deal.

Looked at it on a map, and huh, it really is.
