The Ontario Peninsula is teabagging America, resting on top of Ohio. Straight line, it is closer to the Canadian side of Lake Erie from Bristol than a straight line to Memphis from Bristol.
Also, another way to conceptualize space/distance is how long it takes to get there rather than distance. And in that sense, it is quicker to get to Memphis. This is another source of skewing our perceptions of actual distance.
OK apparently this is something that every Tennessee school child learns, and I am the weird one for only recently learning it.
No, I am saying that using a flat map to address the question doesn't work. Even though it showed the right answer, it is not an accurate way of addressing the question. The distances are long and the difference is close.
Yeah I think it's been pretty well established that the all the new money in Brentwood has driven the entire population into all manner of depravity. We've even got the tweet receipts.
Alaska is both the most Eastern and Western State due to the Aleutian Islands and the Eastern and Western hemisphere.
Africa is the only continent in all four hemispheres and Kiribati the only country in all four, as well.
I assume from one of the point neighborhoods you'd run into long island somewhere, or one of the Massachusetts islands. Depends how many techicalities we're going for.
