30 avg, when going off for 40, means he scored 20 in a 3 game span. Pippen is the dude who held him to 20.
I dont expect you to understand. As far as hoops knowledge of the game played on the court and all the nuances, you make kaf look like Phil Jackson

Lol 20 points in a 3 game span... Please tell me you know that doesn't happen. Do you really want to look at Durant's 20 point (or less) playoff games? You really think that's going to help prove your point? Jesus.
    • Game 4 of the finals in 2018 - 20 points in a 23 point win to sweep the series.
    • Game 2 of the WCF in 2017 - 16 points in a 36 point win
    • Game 4 of the conference semis in 2017 - 18 points in a 26 point win
    • Game 1 in the same series - 17 points in an easy 12 point win (played 30 minutes)
    • **Game 1 conference semis in 2016 - 16 points in 32 point loss (played 10 minutes less than every other game in the series)
    • Game 4 of round 1 2016 - 19 points in an 11 point win
    • **Game 2 conference finals 2014 - 15 points in 35 point loss (played 28 minutes)
    • **Game 4 round 1 2014 - 15 points in a 3 point win
    • **Game 6 conference semis in 2011 - 11 points in 12 point loss
    • Game 5 Conference semis in 2011 - 19 points in 27 point win
    • **Game 5 round 1 2010 - 17 points in 24 point loss
I omitted games where he left with an injury, such as 11 points he scored in game 5 of the 2019 finals. That leaves 11 games of 20 points or less in his entire playoff career. And you can break it down further:
    • 5 of the 11 came in games where his team destroyed the other team, meaning he either played significantly fewer minutes or didn't need to score.
    • 3 of the remaining 6 came in blowout losses where he saw fewer minutes and the game was decided early.
That leaves 3 legitimate 20 point (or less) playoff games in the 13 seasons Durant has had access to playoff basketball. The conclusion, to anyone not trying to convince themselves of the contrary, is that there isn't a defender alive who can hold Durant to 20 points across a 3 game span, let alone for the better part of a 7 game series.

Math. If the avg is 30 and the high number is 40, the low number is 20.

That's not how math and/or averages works.

Dude is looking at 11 career playoff games where Durant scored 20 points or less, and still wants to argue. I literally listed them all out for him and fed him the info with a spoon. I don't know what else to do.

Lol that’s not math. He could live between 28 and 32, occasionally go off for 40 and end up with a 30 point average without ever dropping to 20.

If you don’t believe me, add up 6 games of 28 points, 3 games of 32 and 1 game of 40 and let me know what the average is

Tell me how an avg gets to 30 if the high number is 40.

He or you said Durant goes off for 40. You cant avg 30 with a high of 40 without 20.

    40, 39, 11.

    Glad I could help.

    You literally can. 6 games of 28 points + 3 games of 32 + 1 game of 40 = 30.4 avg. No 20s anywhere

So pippen can't hold Durant to 20, but someone held him to 11. Ok makes sense.

Get it to 30 in a 7 game series with a high of 40.

I don't give a shit about the argument, just pointing out that 20 is not the low to get to an average of 30 with 40 as the high when using more than 2 data points.

It just means he averages 28.3 in the other 6 games, and there are many ways to do that without dropping to 20.

Over 3 game span it is.
