And yet the luck keeps congregating around teams like UNC, who are on the verge of their second Final Four as an eight-seed, while we wander in the wilderness.

 

One thing is how do you respond to luck. Do you strike a knockout blow on your opponent and his psyche when you have good luck. Do you go to pieces or put on more steam when it’s bad. I thought that mental toughness was a strength of this team but they didn’t respond well to a short string of bad luck against Michigan.

 

Unc has maybe 5 20 pt losses this year as well.

 

the only luck imo from that game is the running hook at the shot clock buzzer. Besides that, their big man outshot our best 4 from 3. Simple as that imo. We had more open 3s than Nova, but they scored 21 more in their attempts, mostly contested.

 

Houston favored by 3 over Nova is interesting. They (Houston) seemed like one of the biggest question marks coming into this thing. The numbers suggested they were a legit Final Four threat, but they hadn’t really beaten anybody all season.

If we had played the Michigan team that showed up against Villinova we would have crushed them. The 7 footer couldn't hit shit. Oh well. One day the luck will turn. Just got to keep getting there.

 

Houston woulda been an interesting matchup. The play hard ball pressure but KC and ZZ can eat that up 25 feet out

 

Nova may win an elite 8 game with fewer than 10 assists and less than 25% from the floor

 

Imagine shooting 28% in an elite eight game and still winning

 

that game turned into an iso game. Both teams play great D but that was some ugly ball.

 

These mother [uck fay]ers are going to win the whole thing. What a shit tournament so far. Only good thing was Kentucky losing to a 15.

 

Always gut-turning to see an achilles pop. Not a Nova fan in the least, but hoping that it wasn't actually his achilles, and Williams' rehab is quick and smooth.

 

Hoping that’s a calf. Achilles often brings a fist pounding pain. Definitely a pop of some sort

Looking like Duke vs North Carolina in the final 4. K has his guys playing really good.

 

A final four of three blue bloods + Villanova would be a travesty after all the insanity in this tournament.
