I need him to leave so I can get back to hating Michigan as I should.

 

An article in the Athletic said if he gets an offer he’s gone.

 

His family kept him put otherwise he might have made a run at it. NFL is where he wants to be next.

 

He was the one to finally stabilize Michigan. Brought them back from the dead and made them relevant within the sport again. Leaving now after back-to-back CFP births, Big 10 Titles, and victories over Ohio State makes sense. He has probably peaked at Michigan. It is likely even he knows that he has achieved as much as he can at Michigan. Plus if he leaves now he can always come back to Michigan down the road should he want that and the job is available.
