Be interesting to see where this team’s head is at, and if there’s any fight left in them. If nothing else, at least it’s the end of the Joe Milton era.
I think it is worth noting that Heupel has taken ownership of the problems this season. That is not something we saw under Jones or Dooley (saw under Pruitt, to be fair). I think we are okay. There is work to do, but there is a path to a better future.
Actually, I do care a bit. I'm interested to see if Milton can put together a sustained touchdown drive for the first time since the UConn game.
It wasn’t that long ago we put up 60 at home. Maybe won’t do that but I expect to take care of Vandy.
If this game is even a worry, we need to fire up the ole coaching search right now. But I am not worried one bit. We will crush them and then go to a bowl and see if we can do better next year.
I'm getting a good chuckle that I'm not the doom and gloom guy. We're beat up and UGA is that good at the moment. Yes there were some eggs, but we've still got 9 wins on the table and I don't think this coach and AD will treat it as if we just won a natty. No need to freak out just yet.
Plus the ridiculous officiating this year. Not blaming it for the overall record, but it absolutely disrupted a few games. It could have impacted the outcome of one or two.
Im not saying I’m not frustrated. We should be 8-3 minimum right now, if not 9-2. But lord have mercy the we're doomed crowd is something else.
I think some enjoy coaching searches. We just beat UF and Bama last year for first time in awhile. No need to be in a rush to run off a coach who did that and set many UT records just last year. We aren’t Ga playing 20 5 *s. We are playing none. Heupel has to do the right thing and address defense getting off the field.
