Well, I'm talking about people I have seen coming in the right lane for a quarter mile. I don't think I have a problem, but maybe I'm in denial.

My worst case was coming home from Cedartown, GA. I got behind a school bus that went 8 miles dropping off kids. Thats not the bad part, the bus was behind a tractor that also went the 8 miles.

 

One of my pet peeves is when people call it "the fast lane". It's a passing lane. Or have the "keep right EXCEPT to pass" laws been changed?

 

That's the law in Europe, not here, or certainly not in California.

 

There used to be signs all over the road that said that.

 

I've not been to Bristol in a long time. I used to go to Talladega every spring and Atlanta in the fall as well. Kids put an end to most of that. The last race I attended was Talladega in '09. A buddy and I almost got kicked out.

That'd be cool. I've talked about going there a couple of times with a buddy of mine who has never been. We always find some reason not to go - kids or wives usually.

 

The shitty racing there niw doesn't help either.

Were you on I65 N in Alabama yesterday? I swear I had to pass about 100 cars on the right side coming home. Bunch of dad gum redneck idiots that couldn't drive a greasy peg up a goat's ass.

 

Rode from Huntsville, AL to Atlanta going to a race one time with a buddy of mine and his fiance. My wife and I got to listen to her tell him to get in the left lane constantly despite cars passing us on the right and the fact that we weren't passing at the time. If it hadn't been for the bourbon and cokes I was drinking, I'm not sure our friendship would have survived intact.
