Getting blown out by ucla isn't good for job security. Problem is who do they hire now?

Ah, the ol' "who ya gunna git?" dilemma. That is a conundrum.

I think Del Rio is a real possibility, though he might play himself into an NFL gig.

Monte Kiffin, baby. He can bring in his hotshot son offensive coordinator.

I'd rather they just hire Fox and let the Broncos find someone worth a crap.

Rumor is that O tanked this one on purpose so he'd just be #2.

I don't think much of Fox either. The players adore him though.

Wish they wouldn't find a way to make mistakes that would shame sixth-graders in every game I catch. If not for the Lions they'd be the dumbest team in the league.

For only having 2 losses, they do some stupid things on a consistent basis. I've never seen a winning NFL team have so many fumbles week to week. I hypothesize that the entire team waits around for Manning to win games for them too much. They need to start stepping up because that horse is too old and has never been overly clutch for them to be depending on him like that in every tough spot.

The guy they were going to hire all along.

Yeah, his defense's performance Monday night has to have people lining up to grab him.

Hard to hold a lead when the offense keeps turning it over. The schedule is favorable for a strong run to close the season, and I don't think Fox will be back til playoffs at least.

If I were his family, I wouldn't want Fox coming back this season at all.

I thought Fox was coming back against the Titans next week?

Is he? My post is based on info over a week old.

But like I said, if I were his family I wouldn't like it.

It was on the ticker during the one of the basketball games this weekend.

I heard something similar on ESPN radio.

    My thoughts.

That was inexcusable football. I still say it's Peterson or Pep Hamilton.

Who? Del rio? I'm not convinced he wants to leave the nfl.

I am a big Peyton sheep/homer/phile and I believe this 100%. I think it has been his problem his whole career. Whether he consciously instills this attitude or not, I believe it.

And Del Rio might make a great college coach, you cannot know till he takes the gig. Pete Carroll didn't light it up in the NFL before he went to USC.

Pete worked at USC because of his enthusiasm and personality. Del rio isn't a dud personality wise, but he's no Pete Carroll. I'm not convinced del rio would be good at motivating and teaching 18 year olds.
