In someone should get an extra say $2 mil for being the face of the program. undoubtedly there will be many interview requests etc. probably have every wackjob in the country asking you for money or attempting to kidnap your kids for ransom.
Also have to throw in the cost of hedging the shit out of it if it gets to the final four. Might end up costing money to win.
that's a good point. in reality if you have the perfect bracket up to say the final four you should certainly hedge your bets. say your perfect bracket has like a 4th seed winning it all.
We'll figure out an overall scheme for how we are going to fill them in. Each person would be responsible for X number of bracket to fill out and we'll divy up who fills out what scenarios. Attempt to hit the "most likely" ones and go from there.
Say you have a bracket with Kansas and Syracuse in the championship game and Kansas as the winner. If Kansas wins, you get 1 billion. If they lose, you get shown on national TV crying. But you could place a separate wager on Syracuse to win. For the purpose of illustration, we'll say 300 million and it's even odds (though I think there would be logistical issues long before that large a bet). If Kansas wins, you still get 700 million, but now you have a 300 million safety net if Syracuse wins.
I've got an idea of where to start I'll post tomorrow when not on my phone. Even my wife doesn't think this sounds too crazy.
