http://www.bizjournals.com/stlouis/stories/2008/10/20/daily15.html some people thought it was possibly the greatest alcoholic beverage ever. http://message.snopes.com/showthread.php?t=45831
My dad bought a 6 pack of Zima at the drive through when it first came out, took one sip, and asked if I wanted one. This was odd. While my dad looked the other way on such things, he had never offered me alcohol before that point or ever again afterward up until I was 18 or 19. I wound up with the rest of them.
You could say that. He used Zima as his measuring stick for bad alcoholic beverages and made fun of me drinking the last five for years.
Well make fun of me. I discovered a maple whiskey while living in Boston called Cabin Fever about 6-7 years ago. I quickly added it to my whiskey rotation. Very nice when I'm in the mood. I think they're more wildly distributed now. I was buying from the guy who made it in his backyard at the time.
