I went on record in July when I gazed into my Crystal Ball saying we'd go 7-5. I stick by that. Losses to Oklahoma, Arkansas, Bama, Georgia, and Missouri.

the usual suspects are always lemmings, but if he doesn't deliver some improvement, his seat'll get hot for 2016 for sure. there's plenty of people who aren't lemmings.

I said 6-6 before. Absolute ceiling is 8 unless the o-line is drastically improved.

You guys are going to feel really silly when we win the Super Bowl this February.

I just don't think the OL has to be that much better to win 8 plus.

I still think the experience level of our talent and being early in the season is a challenge. We can win, but gotta excel.

    Do you really buy that?

To beat 9 teams on this schedule, the offensive line doesn't have to be that good.

This oline isn't winning titles, though.

I don't buy it. They have to be serviceable.

And serviceable isn't a gigantic improvement over the last 6 games.

The fact Thomas isn't at tackle and Crowder isn't at center is an upgrade

Maybe I should have said o-line and coaching. The best staff in America needs to have improved as well. Maybe Debord becomes Butch's Cutcliff. Lord knows the search resembled Cutcliff's second coming.

It's a long way from now to then, but SC was not impressive last night.

I don't think they'll be too good, but even their best teams looked like dog shit the first week.

Peyton said it himself, he'll be the QB coach, DeBord gets the line and Mahoney is out. -VN response

Their defense still sucks for sure. Still not sure how they only managed to give up 13 points. .... oh yeah UNC's QB threw 2 picks in the endzone.

If they have to trot Cooper out at QB ten snaps a game just to get first downs, they're dog shit. Connor Mitch looked horrible. Anything over 5 yards was out of the question. USC is really lucky to have won that game. UNC dropped an easy pick 6 and then their QB threw two horrible INT's in the end zone. UNC should have won that game by 3-4 scores. But they also suck and did what sucky teams do. Looked like two teams that will struggle to get bowl eligible to me.
