Inaugural 8th Maxim "Foster a CFB Team" program

I will step up for the Virginia Cavaliers. For some reason they have always had a soft spot in my heart.

 

My bulls had a solid performance against the vaunted Albany Great Danes last week. We have a dual threat QB that threw for 250 and rushed for 100. This team showed a lot of balance in the run and pass game, and only had a trip up when we boinked an XP. We're all gearing up for this week's match up against Penitentiary State. We got GA's testing the water before our guys drink it and standing outside the shower room to ensure player safety. I'm feeling pretty good this week and look forward to seeing my Bulls get off to a 2-0 start.

Meh, I'd argue Indiana and UVA are P5 teams in name only.

 

I can't stop someone from doing whatever they want. Those are schools that do have a name and do have fans, so it isn't really the same as EMU or Ball State.

 

Please don't group the Cardinals with that second rate school up north.

 

I only read the first post and didn't see where you limited it to non power 5 conference teams. No big deal.

MTSU gets to go to Tuscaloosa this week and take down the Tide.

 

EMU takes on Wyoming which should be winnable.

 

ETSU just lost to Maryville College.

 

They're starting from scratch. I won't be surprised if it takes 2 years to win a game.

 

MC is a mid grade D3 school.

And why would ETSU have better players in year 1? They were a D-nothing team.

 

Georgia State, in year 1, went 6-5.

Losing to a D3 school at any point is not good if you are a D1 school. I get what you are saying, but it's still really bad.

 

ETSU has two years of scholarship players now. MC doesn't even offer athletic scholarships. It doesn't bode well that the talent-gap is virtually non-existent between the two schools.

 

The ETSU WR coach/recruiting coordinator is the former MC head coach.
