Mine was my 9 years of pro wrestling. That was also the most fun I've ever had doing that. I wore a mask and went by the handle of The Russian Asasian. Back in the 80's. People believe anything! I was also coaching at the time.
I wasn't preaching yet. I did do some about 5 years ago to help some local guys get their wrestling show started here where I lived. I worked for them for about 10 shows, but I wrestled as myself since so many kids at school new me. That was their target audience and since I was coaching there at the time, it was a natural draw. And I was preaching and teaching during this time. Coaching is how I got into it in the first place, they were doing a wrestling show here where I live and wanted a coach to get involved, again so they could get the kids. and I had always wanted to do it. The first guy I ever wrestled would later become The Big Boss Man. He was telling me what to do to him in the ring because I had never done it before. After doing it two times for them, they then got me training where I could learn to do it. Mainly on Saturday nights during the season and a few times during the week. It was a blast!
I've sat in 19 degree weather sauger fishing. I don't know if that's dumb or crazy. I've duck hunted when the wind chill was -7. We had a 4 inch pump running to keep the water moving and it froze up. I've been under the Paris bridge in west Tennessee in a boat while a tornado passed over top of us.
I grew up fishing Kentucky Lake and Barkley, mainly crappie. Now I'm 15 minutes away from Weis Lake, still crappie fishing!
Whereabouts? I have fished Danville, Cane Creek, White Oak and Bass Bay a lot. I don't get up there as much I use to. I've fished Bumpus Mills a lot too on Barkley.
We usually put the boat in at Parris landing, then when the state dock opened we put in there. I haven't been there in close to 35 years, I sure I wouldn't be able to find my way around anywhere1
