Brice put out an update saying we are looking at several guys as a TE coach. Spavital who was the OC at A&M until today, Matt Canada, Jason Michel from the Titans, Larry Scott who was the interim head coach at Miami, and Shannon Dawson. Apparently Spavital reached out to us.

 

I thought Sumlin kept Spavital ?

I just read that he's leaving. Saturday Down South reported this morning that he was staying.

 

I think Butch wanted Shoop but couldn't afford him. I don't fault him on this

 

I am thinking some of these guys are gonna require a title like Passing Game Coordinator or the like.

 

Meanwhile, Bama is probably going to hoist ANOTHER trophy and still be making a shitton of money.

 

I'm not totally convinced shoop is out of picture, just very unlikely.

He was a GA here, coached here in 2008 and went on to the NFL after that cluster **** of a season

 

Hubbs just posted that Larry Scott is the leading candidate to take Elder's spot

 

He would be a much better hire than Michael
