Seeing it again raised it for me. It's a good movie, solid. Stick with 2D though. The 3D version did nothing for me. My biggest remaining gripe was the handling of Lex. Strong heroes need strong villains, and this Lex is a wuss. Give me a Lex who is unapologetically selfish, evil, and self absorbed. Just don't give me a whiny dweeb whose daddy beat him. Eisenberg as Zuckerburg would have made a better Lex than Eisenberg as Lex.
I would have liked to have seen Bryan Cranston as Luther. Having said that, I actually loved the weasel Alex Luther. Did you see the Jack Nicholson easter egg?
That can be changed, but "wah, my daddy beat me" is not the direction I would have preferred. By the way, it's still the genius. It's just Luthor The Snot-Nosed Genius.
Not bad. The beginning was rough trying to set everything up. Did like seeing Wayne's tie into the Zod/Superman right. Gal Gadot...whew. I could do without a lot of the slow-no crap, but overall not bad. Not a bad introduction of the new characters, either. Who was the 3rd one? The Silas Stone character. Subtle aqua man and flash intros, though
Gal Gadot looks like a Bond girl. Maybe that why I like her so much. I was surprised by Affleck's Batman. He was good. The voice altering mask for voice disguise is much, much better than having the actor try that deep bass voice. Very "meh" on Lex Luthor in the movie.
If you haven't seen it, The Dark Knight Returns cartoon movie is fantastic. Peter Weller voices Bruce Wayne/Batman
