Same for me. My grandpa graduated West Poiint in 1956. He would be so damn happy and proud now, feeling sad he wasn't here to see this. Passed away a couple years ago to a stroke.
Nice win for Army, but I still say Butch is perfect for that job. When I think of Leadership, the development of Leadership, Excellence, Resilience, Growth, Competence, etc, I go 1) Butch Jones , 2) West Point. Match made in Heaven, inarguably.
Fun day. One of my best friends, who was a very good player at Army actually started crying when we got that final 1st down.
Nice. One sided streaks make the rivalry boring after a while. Thought it would be 15 after Navy stormed back.
Attaboy. All this new business, you're gonna need a short, sarcastic account management type to keep all this revenue fat and happy. I'll send you my comp requirements this week, and we can wrap up the I9 over the holidays.
Got back to the hotel and got to see the last 9 minutes. Glad for Army. Love the sheer raw emotion of that game.
One of my favorite moments of this game is when the winning team makes a mad dash to their fellow classmates to sing second after winning. I kind of missed that today, but it was cool to see the exuberance of the Army cadets in breaking the streak.
