Float, htf do I post a pic? Upload from mobile is too big, pics@ is broke, and I've got a dead animal that needs to be seen.
I do a screen shot of my pictures, its usually small enough to upload. Or, I send a pic to myself through a text message, my phone automatically resized it, then I download the picture, boom, small enough to post
Northern New Mexico. It's hot as hell. They aren't doing right, and if you look closely he's still in velvet. Anyway, was glad to get him.
I think I’ve finally found a place to hunt here in NC. Not easy to find a place where the land is good, the price is ok, there aren’t too many members and the members aren’t huge rednecks. Only problem is the landowner loves turkey hunting and doesn’t sell turkey rights, so I’m gonna have to ingratiate myself.
Finding sheds is awesome. My best is a mule deer shed I found near the rim of the Grand Canyon. It was about four feet up in a scrub tree. That’s a foreign place to me so I struggle to estimate how long it’d been there but definitely for a couple years I’d think.
To the 8th’s bow hunters: I’m a little out of practice with my bow (just shot it for the first time in 2+ years). I’ve found a place to hunt in NC though and I’m restocking on arrows and Broadheads. What Broadheads are y’all working with these days?
So I’ve only shot mechanical. My Dad taught me all I know but I never bow hunted until college when I just randomly bought one and taught myself. I started on mechanical because it seemed easier but I think I may switch.
I tried the Rage 3 blade, I drew back and saw one of the blades dangling. I said screw it, went back to Muzzy. I haven't bow hunted in 200 years though
If you are going to shoot mechanical, shoot grim reaper. Rage has to push the blade out, grim reapers fold out.
In the rain, watching 3 bucks mill around a field. One is a decent 8 that will get it if he comes my way
