Read 40 pages last night. They lay it out pretty easy from get go how it gets so bad. Good stuff though. Skillet was/is a genius.
Finished it early this morning before work. I really enjoyed it. Did you feel like the ending was rushed?
Anyone ever read book reviews on Amazon? Are all the people reviewing the books writers for some newspapers? Where are the regular guys, you know, this book was shit, or this book was awesome. They're all, the author's interpretation of the wind blowing through the halls of the, blah, blah, blah. [uck fay], tell me if it was entertaining and if I'll be able to read it to the end, or get bored of it after 30 pages
Finished the Enron book last night. Man, what a bunch of brilliant, arrogant, selfish guys in one place.
Reading Autumn in the Heavenly Kingdom about the Chinese Civil War or the Taiping Rebellion. Really good and fascinating read. I love trying to discover the significant events somehow given short shrift over the years.
Book about Daddy Bush, I'll put it on my list. Worth full price, or find it used? Also, is it really political?
MIL bought me "It's Your Ship" for Christmas, about management techniques from a navy ship. Not sure why she thinks I needed a book about how to handle a month to year long gay orgy, but gonna start reading it today anyway.
Pretty cool story. I've never read it but I know a lot of the culture bros like it in the football world.
I envy book readers. My wife is 5th one into Game of thrones. I didnt make it 50 pages. Cant clear the head or stay focused long enough.
Game of Thrones has been hard for me to read. I don't understand what they're saying sometimes and I have to go back and reread parts. But I do like reading at night. It clears my head and helps me sleep.
Decided to read this one at lunch at the office. Also reading House of Morgan. Now THAT'S an interesting read.
I'm reading that 11/22/63 or whatever it was. It's been good so far, sometimes it's hard to put down.
