Best moment in intramural sports history is when a friend of mine and Card’s who was coaching defense for a girls flag team got so mad at his offensive coach (for calling a double reverse on his own goal line iirc) he spent about half a game lying on his back on the sideline
Sitting in a sports bar/restaurant watching the game in Manchester, CT. If I was rich, I would have wrecked the joint after the 'catch'.
After Kicking 5 field goals that day and watching 3rd and Chavis work it's magic, I honestly wasn't that mad. IIRC it was second down, and Spurrier was gonna score there.
@sbterry247 We now have a form of free agency in college sports: "Fifty-one of 64 NCAA players who appealed for immediate eligibility since that modification saw their waivers approved, per the most recent NCAA data. Verified account 7m7 minutes ago SEC Mike Retweeted Shannon B. Terry This should make Tennessee feel optimistic that Aubrey Solomon and Deangelo Gibbs will be made eligible immediately in 2019.
I still hate that the NCAA is who signs off on who is allowed to play immediately. I don't have a good alternative, but the NCAA is so damn inconsistent I can see them allowing transfers immediate eligibility to certain schools more than others. We'll see in time, but we've seen how the NCAA handles certain schools that commit violations in the past.
