You’ve just indicted the entirety of college athletics in a single sentence.

    Not true, but who cares.

Coaches jump ship at any point.

There are still scholarship limits. Unless the entire team is transferring out where the new coach is headed, he can only bring a few guys with him at most.

Can absolutely do it. College football is full of mercenaries now. Time to adapt

One time free transfer. After, second transfer allowed with one year sit out or transfer down for immediate eligibility.

Your hypothetical is stupid and not thought out.

I believe your position is the one less thought out. Add caveats or limits. With all the coaching changes each year, you dont think there would be some mass exodus on both ends?

Per Price we are trying to get involved with a OG from FSU, Landon Dickerson. Think we recruited him pretty hard coming out of HS IIRC

It’s just as easy to get players from other schools and lesser programs to transfer in to your school.

The NCAA already approves 90% of waivers, so instead of trivially handing out these waivers, just give everyone one free pass.

There's more people wanting scholarships than scholarships available.

If a school messed up and hired a bad coach, they might be mass exodus. However that would just push the schools to making coaching changes faster. Which would be better than, tough shit guys you're stuck with Butch Jones.

It wouldn't be any different than the private sector were employees can come and go freely, even if it puts the company in a bind. And make no mistake, these players are employees of the university and NCAA.

This is a damned fair point.

Can’t be for the free market in everything except colleagiate athletics.

Speaking of transfers, Mel Kiper is talking about Preston Williams being a possible first round pick.
