This case is going to be fascinating. Obviously the crimes he’s committed are horrific, but it may be incredible the level of shit this stirs up and at the highest levels of US politics and business. I’d love to hear @droski thoughts on his business. It is pretty clearly some combination of completely made up/ fraudulent/ criminal. He supposedly only manages money for billionaires and has only ever had one known client, and the investment personnel of his firm consists of him and him only. Here’s a 2003 profile on him: https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2003/03/jeffrey-epstein-200303
For all appearances his company is legit and just doing regular asset management except for really really rich people. God knows what type of “benefits” he gave those clients though. Hard to imagine he didn’t involve those people in his private life.
Blows my mind how open of a secret this whole thing was. Dude was even convicted in '08 and yet none of his rich buddies seemed to care very much and he obviously continued his activities. Would like to think anyone with moral fiber wouldn't have hesitated to cut a known child rapist out of their lives regardless of how wealthy they were. And yet we're talking about him potentially having dirt on at least 1 POTUS and likely a number of other highly influential people as well.
if he has skeletons, he better have buried them deep because you know everyone is wondering what his angle was.
Well he’s a pretty sketchy guy who has in the past employed a sketchy auditor. Obviously there’s a lot to come but I won’t be surprised at all if we learn the whole thing was a sham.
