Seems like they could of come up with server names that didn't suck, or brought back a couple of the old names.
I played stress test some this weekend. There are some differences. There is a lot of political and shit posting in /1 and /2, and a very large amount of random commentary that I don't really remember being prevalent in vanilla. Probably just due to everyone being pretty much the same level, and in the same zones, but it gets childish, even to 8th standards. There was a thread up on Blizzard forums today where the OP was asking folks to avoid playing with groups from south/central America, and if going to be on a US server, should speak English. And yesterday someone asked in /2 why there was language from a third world country being used
Blizzard won't tolerate it. Might take a few months, but eventually it'll go away. My concern is that it will go to the other extreme, where everyone takes offense to everything, and so nobody is being social again. One of the guys I'll play with noticed that everyone is playing WoW like it's 2019, not 2004, too. So they're going to need to learn to team up.
In fairness, the last thing you want to do is play on a Brazilian server. Those guys suck. Not sure why blizzard didn't make a SA relm.
I'll be a horde shaman on Whiteman. I'll roll an alliance at some point somewhere. Probably won't roll my toon till a day before launch.
Titan Panel, Auctioneer and Questie are working on Classic, but might be a bit buggy, in initial, because beta was hard to test in.
Got my name on the RP realms. Hoping one of the two servers manages some Moon Guard-level shenanigans
