Lots of young Americans all over Germany. In a lot of cases they are dual nationals. And Dortmund is one of the best at finding and developing young talent in general
They don't they just have the biggest academy in Germany, and put a lot of effort into bringing them on and buying young talent. That way they sell big if all goes well. Schalke is the same way and they have IMO the most important future USMNT player in McKinnie. Bayern have finally started to see the value in buying young guys, but their academy is still not a the level of their counterparts in the Buli because they don't rely on it as much. It's a catch 22 because they'll never invest in their academy as long as they can win the Bundesliga. But maybe Hansi will be able to change that if he doesn't get fired.
Damn, 2 years. 30 million pounds is meh to the Sheikh, and I feel a large anonymous donation heading UEFA's way soon.
Just how good is this Liverpool team? Coming off a UCL victory they have a 25 pt lead over Man City in the EPL having dropped TWO POINTS all season. Two freaking points! So how good is this team? Do they stack with the other great teams of the century, line '15 Barcelona? Mid oughts of the AC Milan teams?
Atalanta is something else. Y'all probably can't name one of their players. Big teams come in and buy them, and they don't usually do much. But they just plug another guy in who does just as well or better.
this kind of reminds me of the time i wore my 06 Milan Kaka' shirt to Orlando City vs Atlanta down there and like one person realized that it was actually a guy who had played for their team and not an Atlanta United jersey
