I dunno...it was a released statement, right? Not an off the cuff, verbal reply.

They put it to paper, proofread it, approved it, and fired it off.

Could’ve kept it to “excited about the game”, “excited about the valuable experience it’ll give us.” Could’ve kept it upbeat and vague...no need to specifically mention Pruitt being here in the Spring unless you’re wanting to go ahead and passively condition people to that reality without having to verbally then respond to follow up question about it.

To me, you don’t include that comment unless you’re deliberately putting the message out there that he’s coming back. And doing so in a controlled setting where you don’t have to defend the comment in the ring after you make it.
