this hit surprisingly hard for a person I never got the chance to meet. I always liked him, especially when he was going wild.

Let me take the opportunity to say to you all now that I like you all too. it gets scrappy sometimes but there is a comradery to getting on these stupid forums and suffering through the fandom that afflicts us.

Hmm...I'm thinking there are some deleted posts from that thread, because I vividly remember a Hat post ripping the guy a new asshole.

RIP to the best poster on Vol boards. By all accounts a great guy. Condolences to all of you who knew him personally.

 

Didn't care for Hat after my first run in with him over at VN, but that changed pretty quickly over time. I think it was some of his acolytes/sycophants/nut huggers that was the worst part of that experience.

I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but based on all accounts, mostly here but elsewhere as well, he was a really good dude or tried to be. My prayers are for his family. Death is never easy, and I shudder to think what it would be like to deal with the loss of a child no matter the age.

 

Sad day…it is quite likely that he’s already found Rick Rude and Mr Perfect and tried to talk them into a pearly gates cage match.

RIP, Hat. You were one of a kind.

been a member since this place started. that's when it happened. you see, they "shadow banned" us prolific posters so it looks like we just went away.

 

They always take the cowardly route to deal with inconvenient truths.

 

They’re still petty as hell. I started a thread over there letting people know that Keith had passed and I honestly thought that they would take it down. Much to my surprise they’ve left it up.
