Is he actually a legit 4 star candidate or is it one of those VolNation things where they try to convince everyone all of our 3 stars are blue chip recruits that are just underrated?

 

He's a big, athletic kid that's projected to keep growing into a dlineman.

 

Led the nation in sacks last year, and Alabama and Notre Dame had just started to kick the tires on him.

I missed this before. For historical clarification, scalping is a European thing that was introduced to native Americans as a way to make killing rival Europeans a commodity like animal pelts. The practice originates from European groups taking war trophies (vikings, goths, Roman's, etc)

 

On a more positive note…. We now have 7 commits for ‘23, with 4 of those being in-state commitments…

Yeah you’re right, the timing just made it seem like it would be Tennessee. But all of the recruiting guys aren’t feeling very good about it at the moment.
