I'm glad they're going to fight this, but my concern is we spent a few years dealing with programs using the investigation against us in recruiting and it was noted by Heupel his relief in not having to deal with those issues anymore. What if they are trying to close an NIL deal? It seems like none of these rules really apply or fit in the NIL era.
No way we fly one of the biggest recruits in the country, across county, on a private plane and try to sneak it by the rules at the time.
There were no rules at the time. And this was the NIL collective. The letter is 100% correct, the NCAA has an untenable and intellectually dishonest position. Let's go to court. Let's go to Congress. Let's go.
