15/16 Random College Basketball Game Thread

I keep going back and forth on OU-A&M, that game's winner-Oregon, and West Virginia-UNC. I haven't watched much non-Duke CBB this year, though.

 

Oregon has a walk to the E8 then gets drilled

 

West Virginia goes out of the tournament tonight.

 

Can we add Brad Underwood to the list of future/current successful head coaches that Tennessee had an opportunity to get and didn't?

 

Wasn't expecting that. WVU can't score

 

I sat down with my 3 year old and asked him to pick a team for each match up, until he had completed a bracket. His bracket is better than mine at this point.

 

Once again, my bride is kicking my a**. (Last year was an aberration.)

The universe is unfolding as it should.

 

If they can't turn you over, they can't do much offensively. Huggs nailed it in the press conference last night. Their problem is they can't pass. Screws up the whole offense.

 

UTs biggest problem beyond size. They are terrible passers. Same problem plagued Vandy.

I think it's why Golden State is the best. They pass more and better than everyone else.

Underwood to Stillwater

 

So... Is Vandy able to make a good hire, or are they about to start sucking (harder)?

 

I'd say this is pretty fortuitous for them as they get rid of Stallings with minimal fuss. Probably even get paid for it.

They can do worse no doubt, but he choked hard every time he assembled talent.

He came out today and said his goal was to make it the hardest ticket in town. I chuckled.

 

Since moving to Lexington I've met more than a few people who had dealings with Ford at Campbellsville and EKU, everyone of them truly despises him.

 

I can honestly say I've never met a coach or media member who likes the guy.

 

I am amazed anyone would ever hire him.

 

It's the Pitino Effect. ADs hire his guys and K's people at a silly level.

 

Look forward to Barnes kicking Bryce Drew's ass at Vandy every year.
