Yeah. That was me that started the "we're not getting him unless bama passes on him" at least in the last day or so. ..

 

Based on things I've heard I truly believe that any kid who gives him a fighting chance will have us in serious contention till the end. All we hear about is the letter writing and shit but he is a born unifier and recruiter.

Tennessee offered in mid-May, Bryant camped w/ Tennessee 06.14 and pulled the trigger. A very nice p/u @ a position of need. Bates, Bryant, Mouhon, & Wilson would be a great ILB class.Plus, there's K Jackson's JUCO teammate Ryan Flannigan who's considering the Vols.

 

Tennessee offered Jerome Dews nine days after he camped w/ the Vols. Prior to that Dews had had a good showing @ DC's NFTC, being named to the All-Camp Team as OLB. His agility, athleticism, flexibility, footwork, instincts and quickness impressed coaches @ both camps. After Tennessee's camp and viewing film (JR. yr among other highlights) Jones, Stripling and Thigpen (Primary Recruiter) together decided he was worth a shot / scholly.

I wonder if Coleman Thomas could get the boot if we get that Oregon kid as well as Mosley (and maybe put him on the oline). That's assuming we get Barnett and maybe Ford too because then DT will be crowded.
