Not really a shocker for anyone whose followed his recruiting. We were the leader during winter, trended down a little after getting visits from other schools, then regained lost ground after as of a month or so ago. We are in great shape going into OV season.

 

UT, AU, Lsu, Ohio St. , Clemson, Oklahoma, Miami, UF, NC State, Oregon, UCF, VA Tech, bama, Michigan, and Nebraska

it aint about how good your bid is, it's all about how good the bag man is.

 

Something is going to have to go wrong for us not to land him.

I would not try getting into a bidding war with AU.

It doesn't even phase them when they get caught. That's how brazen they are, and have always been. And it doesn't matter if its recruits, bowl invitations or whatever else is of any significance.

 

Because we have such a great history of winning recruiting battles against Auburn

 

Where've you been the last 10 years? Everything goes wrong for UT football.

He's really really high on Tennessee, and by wrong, I mean it could be any number of factors, which would include Auburn sweeping him off his feet, but if things stay as they are now, I think we land him .

 

Just wait until Tennessee struggles, because they will.

I try not to ever get excited over a guy with a top 15 list until his LOI is in Tennessee's possession.

 

I think its interesting how long he's gonna wait to announce when most QBs commit early in the process. Anxious to see how that all plays out, but yeah, there's alot that can and probably will go

I think UT will have a QB committed before Gibson does.

The fact that we're in on him speaks volumes to me. Jones is damn good at selling Tennessee's facilities and his vision. Now, if we can just get that vision fully on the field, we might be making our way back......that is a big IF at this point though.
